I am a member of ATGI (Approved Tourist Guides of Ireland) and I hold a Small Public Service Vehicle licence which means that I am licensed to carry people for hire or reward and am fully insured for this. In Ireland you cannot transport people for hire or reward without this licence so always look for the green disc on the front and rear windscreens. I drive an E class Mercedes limo which can take up to four passengers - two seats in the front and three in the back. My tours cover Dublin and the adjoining county of Wicklow, and can be walking tours or driving tours or a combination of both. Hiking, gardens, farming and stately homes are a speciality as are tours for those seeking to visit their ancestral homeland. I studied French, Dutch and Russian translation in Brussels in the 90s, where I met an Irishman who brought me to Ireland—where my own Irish story began. After several years in the corporate world, I followed my passion and became a tour guide to bring more meaning and magic into my work. Today, I offer immersive Irish experiences where you can see castles and ancient churches, smell turf fires, taste traditional soda bread, feel the sea mist, hear live trad music, and discover Irish myths and ghost stories. Based in Bray, Co. Wicklow, I’m ideally placed to explore the Garden of Ireland, including Glendalough, mountains, waterfalls, and stunning coastal scenery. Greetings! I moved to Ireland back in 2013. After living here for 13 years, I've come to love this country as my own (Venezuela) and really enjoy sharing my knowledge on the Irish history and culture. Nowadays, I live in Cobh and definitely came here to stay. Besides having stunning scenery worthy of countless social-media posts, Cobh is one of the most important and interesting local attractions I love to show my guests: its historic links to the Titanic and Lusitania make it a must-see in Cork and Ireland. Painting, writing, travelling and making music are some of the things I like to do during my free time. I also enjoy translating books and documents on Irish history because this is a great way to gain more knowledge. Upon moving to Ireland, I've specialised in tourism for large and small groups. In 2021, I became a certified national tourist guide. I can fluently speak three languages: English, Spanish and French, but I've had the opportunity of guiding people from all over the world, as well as other locals. It is great to see and compare the different perspectives of tourists and guests from far-away countries. What I enjoy the most is that I always end up learning something new.
