Tours are relaxed, friendly and accurate with an emphasis on tailor-made luxurious experiences. I really enjoy illuminating stories to people. I’m a natural story teller having written and produced a recent short film and am a short-story competition winner (SONY Prize 2000).
I love history and especially the experience gained from Fetec Diploma courses in National Tour Guiding, National Tour Management and National Tour Heritage & Culture to interpret our diverse culture for National Tour guiding.
Fully trained in Health & Safety protocols for National Tour Guiding to ensure that those of limited accessibilty and disability can be made feel as welcome as those fully able in any situation I love engaging with all cultures to deliver exciting and engaging experiental tours.
My work experience involved building relationships with highly educated and senior corporate executives to promote my employers services and products in a modern highly regulated environment and I would hope to put these skills to work in this role.

Hi, my name is Tony and as someone living on the Dingle Peninsula with involvement and employment in the tourism industry for the past 20 years, I decided to start a traditional pub tour in Dingle Town to showcase the amazing pubs we have on our doorstep to our visitors, it is the only tour of its kind. We have had a successful first year with over 30 tours and 170 people but now the focus is to grow the tour bigger and better for guests to Dingle in 2026 with more singing, storytelling, music, traditional Irish pub snacks and maybe even a bit of dancing who knows :) /

**Best for solo travellers, older visitors, couples, and small groups who want a relaxed local experience at a comfortable pace** Based in Ventry and Dingle, I offer relaxed local walk, hike, sea swim, and bike outings for visitors who want to experience the Dingle Peninsula at a comfortable pace. These are not extreme adventure tours. They are about getting outdoors, enjoying the scenery, hearing local stories, and getting the inside track on one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland. As a lifelong weather enthusiast, daily sea swimmer, and local guide, I shape each outing around the people taking part, the weather, the tide, and the conditions on the day. Tours can be gentle, scenic, and easygoing, or a little more active if that suits you. The areas covered include Ventry, Dingle, nearby coastal routes, quiet backroads, beaches, safe swim spots, local viewpoints, and places visitors can easily miss. Most outings are 2 to 4 hours, making them ideal for solo travellers, older visitors, couples, and small groups who want a relaxed local experience without committing to a full day. A tour might be a gentle coastal walk, help finding a safe place to swim, a swim followed by a sauna, a relaxed local bike route, or time for coffee and a chat. No special experience is needed. Just bring comfortable clothes, curiosity, and a willingness to see Ventry and Dingle like a local. 2-hour outing: from €120 solo / €150 for 2 people 3-hour outing: from €180 solo / €225 for 2 people 4-hour half-day: from €240 solo / €300 for 2 people Extras such as sauna, bike hire, food, or transport are charged separately. *ventryweather.com/book For solo/couple travellers, I can usually arrange a convenient meeting point in Ventry or Dingle, and where practical I may be able to meet you at your accommodation. Any pick-up or transfer must be agreed in advance and is offered only as part of the guided outing, not as a standalone transport service.

As an experienced tour guide with Galway Civic Trust, I have a deep passion for sharing the rich history and natural beauty of Galway and the West of Ireland. I lead engaging and informative tours that highlight medieval Galway, the unique Claddagh village, the Waterways of Galway and the Famine of Galway. As a Regional and National Tour Guide, my tours provide visitors with a broader understanding of our culture, heritage and appreciation of Connemara, the Burren and the Wild Atlantic Way. Being a true nature enthusiast, I offer a wealth of knowledge about the local flora, fauna and wildlife conservation issues. My immersive tours offer something truly special for the visitor.
