About Mary
Greetings! I moved to Ireland back in 2013. After living here for 13 years, I've come to love this country as my own (Venezuela) and really enjoy sharing my knowledge on the Irish history and culture.
Nowadays, I live in Cobh and definitely came here to stay. Besides having stunning scenery worthy of countless social-media posts, Cobh is one of the most important and interesting local attractions I love to show my guests: its historic links to the Titanic and Lusitania make it a must-see in Cork and Ireland.
Painting, writing, travelling and making music are some of the things I like to do during my free time. I also enjoy translating books and documents on Irish history because this is a great way to gain more knowledge.
Upon moving to Ireland, I've specialised in tourism for large and small groups. In 2021, I became a certified national tourist guide. I can fluently speak three languages: English, Spanish and French, but I've had the opportunity of guiding people from all over the world, as well as other locals. It is great to see and compare the different perspectives of tourists and guests from far-away countries. What I enjoy the most is that I always end up learning something new.

A true eccentric artist, born in the heart of Dublin. I have traveled from Eastern Europe to the Middle East, absorbing languages and cultures in my journey. I love to roam the many historical streets, visiting new exhibitions, or relaxing in the many beautiful parks of this gorgeous city. My interest is in Secret History. So let us go to the largest urban park in Europe to see wild Deer, the largest private collection of Oriental art, and the first public library in Ireland, the famous Dublin cathedrals and rich Georgian architecture.

My journey in the Irish travel industry began early, shaped by a family love for the island’s landscapes and stories. Over more than 26 years, I have built a reputation for designing private tours that feel relaxed, thoughtful, and deeply personal. Recognised as Ireland’s 2025 Bespoke Tour Operator of the Year, I am trusted by travellers who value insight, care, and a genuine connection to the places they visit. Decades spent exploring Ireland’s quieter corners have given me an intimate knowledge of the country, from the dramatic Atlantic coastline to the understated charm of rural villages. I have an understanding of Irish history, folklore, and local life that turns each journey into a living narrative. With me as your guide, travel becomes more than sightseeing, offering moments of connection with the people, stories, and traditions that define Ireland. Known for tours that are refined yet unhurried, I brings together comfort, flexibility, and local insight in a way that feels natural and effortless. Our story and approach are reflected in every journey, whether travelling along the Wild Atlantic Way or through Ireland’s Ancient East, with guests experiencing the country at their own pace, guided by someone who knows Ireland not just as a destination, but as home.
