I’m Henry Doohan, a Fáilte Ireland-approved national tour guide born and raised in Donegal, guiding visitors across Donegal, the Wild Atlantic Way and Ireland. I specialise in private Donegal tours and Wild Atlantic Way tours, sharing the stories, history and hidden places that make this part of Ireland truly unforgettable for visitors, especially those travelling from the United States. My tours are fully private and tailored to you, offering a premium luxury Ireland chauffeur tour experience in Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Whether you’re exploring Donegal’s dramatic coastline, travelling the Wild Atlantic Way, or planning a multi-day Ireland itinerary, I create a relaxed, personal journey where you can discover Ireland at your own pace, beyond the typical tourist trail.

Brendan has lived in Galway for nearly all his life and can trace the origins of his family name back to the 9th century in South Galway. He has been involved in tourism since 2006 leading visitors on journeys of discovery through some of the most beautiful settings in Galway, Ireland, and the world. Each journey begins with a conversation, and from there, I’ll design your route, suggest ideas and make it seamless from start to finish. Whether it’s your first visit or a long-awaited return, I’ll help you discover landscapes, stories and places that speak to your interests — all at your pace.

A passion for Irish history and culture led to the setting up of the WTT Guiding service. In recent years we have aligned our business with the Wild Atlantic Way brand region. Our Guides bring individual destinations and attractions to life. Tour-leader, Gerard (Ger) Considine is the owner and operator of Western Tours and Tales. Now resident in Galway, I saw the opportunity for an exciting career change and I retrained as a Tourist Guide. I am a Regional-qualified Guide to QQI6 Level and accredited by the Irish Tourism authority, Fáilte Ireland. I am a member of the Approved Tourist Guides of Ireland (ATGI) who provide a Book A Guide service and am affiliated to the Galway Civic Trust. Ger is a committee member Galway Tour Guides Association (GTGA), where I can be contacted directly for Tour requests.
