I am a dedicated and intellectually engaged cultural heritage enthusiast with academic training in Local and National Tour Guiding. I am currently pursuing further studies in Cultural and Heritage Studies, deepening my knowledge and expertise in the field. I`m currently running Red Druid Tours, an independent heritage initiative focused on curated thematic tours across Ireland.
My work integrates historical research, site interpretation, and experiential learning, with particular emphasis on Early medieval monastic settlements, High Crosses and medieval cathedrals of Ireland.

My name is Cathy and I am an Irish born and bred tour guide based in our beautiful capital city, Dublin. I have been in the travel industry for over 20 years now and have worked as both a world wide travel manager for a large American company and also as a host and tour guide across Ireland and Europe for the past 8 years.
